About the Role:

QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain UI automation test scripts using
Cypress
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
Perform regression, functional, smoke, and exploratory testing on web applications.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
Analyze test results, report bugs, and verify fixes.
Ensure test coverage, traceability, and reusability of test assets.
Contribute to QA best practices and process improvements.
Support manual testing efforts when needed for complex scenarios or early-stage features.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3–6 years of experience in
Quality Assurance
with a focus on
UI test automation
.
Proficient in
Cypress.io
with hands-on experience in writing and maintaining test scripts.
Strong knowledge of
JavaScript or TypeScript
.
Experience with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like
Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
, etc.
Experience using tools like
JIRA
,
TestRail
,
Postman
, etc.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
Ability to debug and troubleshoot frontend issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
