QA- Eng II/ Lead QA (mandatory experience with Cypress, Webdriverio, RESTAssured)

The Opportunity: We are seeking an engineer to join our software quality assurance team to assist in the continuing evolution of our Platform Orchestration product. You will be able to demonstrate the required potential and technical curiosity to work on software that utilizes a range of leading-edge technologies and integration frameworks. Skills and Experience: · A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field · QA Eng-II: 4-8 years of experience in software quality engineering domain QA Lead Eng: 8-12 years of experience in software quality engineering, with at least 3 years in technical leadership role. · Expert-level JavaScript programming knowledge. · Proficient in programming languages for test automation such as JavaScript, TypeScript or Java . · Prior experience with API integration testing · Practical experience in front-end & WebDriverIO(WDIO) automation . · Exposure to tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber and Cypress . · Experience in the design, development, and enhancement of an automation framework · Ability to identify, estimate, develop, and execute test scenarios · Understanding of the software development life cycle · A quality-driven work ethic with meticulous attention to detail · High levels of curiosity to probe for potential software defects · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Experience in automating canvas-based elements (e.g., drag/drop, drawing tools, zoom/pan events) is preferred · Prior experience of test management tools such as qTest is preferred · Exposure to the Angular UI framework is preferred Responsibilities: · Provide leadership to the QA team; guide automation architecture and best practices. · Provide software quality assurance input to project plans, schedules, and software designs. · Perform code reviews of test scripts, ensure maintainability and scalability. · Own the quality strategy for APIs & canvas heavy UI features automation – from story grooming to final release validation. · Interface with Dev and DevOps to ensure automation is tightly integrated into release pipelines. · Create and maintain formal documentation during all stages of test development and execution. · Support other QA staff in the team when dealing with test challenges, problems related to testing approaches, areas of application functionality, or specific technical knowledge. · Investigate and recreating problems, and finding solutions for users to continue their work. · Communicate product readiness, level of quality, and results to the Development Manager and the other members of the product team
