About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Solution Ownership : Lead the entire development lifecycle, from application/solution conceptualization and development to General Availability (GA) and ongoing support/maintenance, with a focus on high data volume applications.
• Architectural Leadership : Demonstrate sound architectural thinking and thought leadership, guiding the technical direction of products.
• Non-Functional Requirements : Possess expertise in architecting solutions that meet stringent Non-Functional Requirements, including security, performance, availability, and scalability.
• Technology & Industry Expertise : Stay well-versed with the latest technology trends, with a preference for experience in the Insurance technology space.
• Architectural Modeling : Apply working knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and other architecture modeling notations to create Class/Object diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, package diagrams, collaboration diagrams, and use cases.
• Senior Leadership : Leverage a successful record as a Senior Leader in application and software architecture within a large enterprise, ideally with global/virtual team experience.
• Design & Business Acumen : Exhibit expertise in various design methodologies and a deep understanding of business functions.
• Coding Language Proficiency : Possess outstanding knowledge of coding languages, preferably .NET.
• UI/UX & Modern JavaScript : Be familiar with the latest UI/UX trends and Web 2.0 specifications, along with experience in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Database Expertise : Have experience in Database modeling, preferably with SQL Server / PostgreSQL. Knowledge of NoSQL databases will be a plus.
• Cloud Native Development : Demonstrate knowledge of Cloud Deployment and experience with Cloud-Native application development (an added advantage).
