Role: Sr PowerBi Developer

Location: Hyderabad

Senior Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into visualizations.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to ensure high-quality data delivery.
• Leverage Microsoft Fabric to build scalable data solutions and integrate with Power BI for advanced analytics.
• Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data transformation and analysis.
• Create and maintain complex Excel models using VBA and advanced Excel functions.
• Work with Microsoft Dynamics365 (F&O and CE reporting) to develop reporting solutions.
• Integrate Power BI with Azure components such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including working with Git, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant commercial experience using Power BI
• Proven experience using SQL and ETL
• Microsoft Fabrics experience
• Experience and proficiency with analytics and visualisation tools especially Power BI
• Knowledge of programming languages
• Expert Excel knowledge including VBA
• Commercial experience (Desirable)
• Microsoft D365 experience in F&O and CE reporting
• Knowledge of Azure components (e.g. Data factories, Data Bricks)
• Experience working in Agile environment (GIT, DevOps CI/CD)
