Job Summary: The Power BI Developer will be responsible for transforming data from the ERP into actionable insights for the client’s management team. You will design, develop, and maintain a suite of interactive dashboards and reports that provide a 360-degree view of business operations, from customer acquisition to sales performance and inventory usage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Modeling: Connect to the ERPNext database (MariaDB) and other sources to build robust, scalable data models in Power BI.
* Dashboard Development: Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to track KPIs related to sales, customer lifecycle, facility utilization, and employee performance.
* DAX & Power Query: Write complex DAX formulas to create custom measures and KPIs. Use Power Query (M language) for advanced data transformation.
* Data Integration: Set up and manage data refresh schedules to ensure dashboards contain up-to-date information.
* Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with the Product Manager and the client’s leadership to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization with a strong focus on Microsoft Power BI.
* Expert-level skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
* Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation.
* Strong analytical skills with an ability to tell a story with data.
