Job Title: Operations Manager Industry: Manufacturing Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years Location: [Insert Location] Reports To: General Manager / Director of Operations Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely execution of sales processes (quotation to delivery), driving team training and development, and implementing effective CRM strategies to enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:Operations Management Oversee and streamline all operational processes across departments including production, procurement, dispatch, and logistics. Monitor daily workflow to ensure adherence to delivery timelines and production targets. Coordinate between sales, production, and inventory to ensure order fulfillment. Team Management & Training Lead and supervise a team across departments; assign responsibilities and monitor performance. Conduct regular training sessions to upskill staff in operational systems, CRM usage, and sales process efficiency. Foster a collaborative and performance-oriented team culture. Sales Operations Review and approve sales quotations, orders, and customer proposals. Ensure accuracy and profitability of quotations before submission. Track sales order progress and resolve bottlenecks impacting timely delivery. CRM and Customer Experience Implement and oversee CRM systems to maintain customer data, communication, and service history. Analyze customer feedback to improve operational processes and service levels. Handle escalated client issues and provide quick, effective resolutions. Problem Solving & Process Improvement Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity. Use root cause analysis to resolve recurring issues in production, dispatch, or customer handling. Work closely with senior management to align operational objectives with business goals. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in operations within a manufacturing environment . Proven ability to manage teams and train staff effectively. Strong understanding of sales cycle: quotation, order, dispatch, invoicing. Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and ERP systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Exposure to lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodology. Experience in cross-functional coordination with sales, finance, and production teams. Familiarity with ISO standards or quality compliance processes.
