- Responsible for infrastructure stack deployment to cloud Infrastructure.
- Managing application and database deployments.
- Running routine maintenance and system patching on all systems.
- Maintaining uptime for our customer’s applications and databases within service levels.
- Work with other network engineers, software engineers, and quality assurance engineers to resolve development roadblocks.
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
- Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
- Directs compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance.
- Analyzes network traffic and provides capacity-planning solutions.
- Monitors and response to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems.
- Interfaces with vendors and customers as required to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
- Manages the testing, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/MAN/WAN and cloud-based systems.
- Provides the routine testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities (including power, software, communications machinery, lines, modems, and terminals).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or similar discipline preferred..
- 5+ years of recent experience; 2+ years of experience working with UNIX/LINUX Servers highly desired.
- Strong Data Center experience with Cisco Technologies, especially with Routers & Firewalls.
- Experienced with Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN), CCNP certification.
