Job Description

Job Title: MIS Analyst Department: Operations / Finance Location: Chennai Reporting to: Manager – Commercial Job Purpose: The MIS Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting business data to support decision-making across departments. This role involves developing dashboards, maintaining databases, and generating regular and ad-hoc reports to help management track performance, identify trends, and make informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other tools. Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, databases, etc.). Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for different departments (sales, finance, operations, etc.). Prepare Invoice and Collections. Automate report generation processes to improve efficiency. Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to management. Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements. Support audit and compliance processes with accurate data reporting. Maintain proper documentation of reports, data sources, and methodologies. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.). Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
