Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Trend Adaptation

• Work closely with in-house design & production teams to translate buyer briefs into tangible, production-ready samples.
• Research seasonal global décor trends (Halloween, Christmas, Ramadan, Diwali) and ideate relevant collections.
• Track product timelines from concept to sampling to buyer approvals.

Buyer & Export Coordination

• Interface directly with

  international buyers (US/Gulf/Europe)

  and their sourcing teams.
• Manage complete buyer communication: costing, approvals, comments, sample dispatches, and production updates.
• Coordinate with logistics and export documentation teams for seamless shipment execution.

Production Monitoring & Vendor Management

• Daily follow-ups with internal production, QA, and finishing teams.
• Ensure adherence to buyer’s quality standards, testing protocols, and packaging norms.
• Collaborate with internal departments like powder coating, plating, glasswork, and finishing for smooth order flow.

Buying House & Agency Liaison

• Regular coordination with

  home décor-specific buying houses

• Ensure alignment with compliance norms (SA8000, SEDEX, CTPAT).
• Manage inspections and third-party QC processes where applicable.

Trade Show & Collection Readiness

• Support planning and execution for major trade expos like IHGF, Ambiente, GIFTEX, and Dubai trade fairs.
• Assist with booth setup, range planning, and client handling during exhibitions.

Eligibility & Requirements:

Professional Experience:

• 2–3 years working with

  home décor exporters

  /

  handicraft manufacturers

  /

  buying houses specializing in lifestyle or decor

  .
• Should have hands-on experience managing

  US and Gulf export clients

  .

Education:

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Merchandising, Home/Fashion/Textile Design, or related field.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of

  glassware, metalware, and handicraft production techniques

  .
• Understanding of international quality standards, export documentation, and compliance audits.
• Sharp eye for aesthetics, finishes, color tones, and current global décor trends.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic ERP or order-tracking systems.
• Excellent communication skills and buyer coordination etiquette.

Preferred Exposure:

• Experience in working with

  CTPAT-compliant

  suppliers or under

  SA8000/SEDEX

  -driven buyers.
• Familiarity with sustainable sourcing and eco-conscious packaging.
• Ability to travel domestically (vendor visits) and assist in international expos if required.
