Job Description What you get to do in this role: Manage product development activities Work with product management, design, support and other dev teams to create high-quality solutions Manage daily activities of the development team Solve difficult and sometimes ambiguous problems Manage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry. 10–13 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership role as an Engineering Manager. Proven expertise in open-source tools and thriving in agile development environments, delivering high-quality solutions efficiently. Extensive experience in database design and data modeling, with a strong focus on scalability and performance optimization. Proficient in one or more core programming languages such as Java, C++, or JavaScript, with hands-on development experience. Strong grasp of foundational and advanced technical concepts, with the ability to translate complex challenges into effective solutions. Demonstrated ability to drive projects end-to-end, balancing priorities, risk, and outcomes in alignment with organizational goals. Prior experience in application development on the ServiceNow platform is highly desirable. Additional Information Work Personas We approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust.
