Job Description

Job Title: Continuous Improvement / TQM Executive Department: Operations Excellence / Quality Reporting To: CI / Quality Head Job Purpose: To drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across the organization through structured methodologies like QCC, CFT, Kaizens, and 5S. The role focuses on enhancing operational excellence, improving processes, and fostering a culture of Total Quality Management (TQM). Key Roles & Responsibilities: Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Initiate and drive CI programs such as Cross Functional Teams (CFTs), Quality Control Circles (QCCs), and Health & Safety Programs (HSPs) across all group companies. Establish and monitor the electronic Continuous Improvement Management Program (eCIMP). Recognize and reward high-performing teams based on CI outcomes. 5S Implementation and Audits: Schedule, conduct, and monitor 5S audits. Train employees regularly on 5S principles. Drive improvements based on audit findings to sustain workplace organization and efficiency. Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions for employees on CI tools and techniques like Kaizen, QCC, Root Cause Analysis, and problem-solving. Build CI competency within the organization. Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare MIS reports capturing the status and progress of CI initiatives, audits, and suggestions. Track key metrics related to CI programs and ensure regular updates to management. Employee Engagement and Recognition: Facilitate participation in internal and external competitions such as QCC conventions and Kaizen contests. Evaluate and reward ideas, suggestions, and contributions from employees. TQM and Knowledge Sharing: Organize and conduct TQM quizzes and knowledge-sharing sessions on a quarterly basis to build a quality-centric culture. Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external auditors for assessing the effectiveness of CI projects and management systems. Support audit compliance and follow-up actions. IS and System Improvement: Support initiatives related to Information Systems (IS) and continuous system improvements as required. Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: Any Graduate / Diploma / BE / MBA preferred with specialization in Operations, Quality, or Industrial Engineering. Experience: 3 to 8 years of experience in driving continuous improvement, TQM, or quality management systems in a manufacturing or service environment. Key Skills: Proficient in TQM tools, Kaizen, 5S, QCC, and CFT management. Strong skills in training, facilitation, and employee engagement. Ability to prepare and present MIS and audit reports. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of lean principles, root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Work Model: Onsite – Full-time
