Job Description

  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in ASP.NET Core following best practices and coding standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.
  • Work extensively with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks to interact with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Implement and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their technical growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem and web development.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical leadership.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment strategies is highly desirable.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and writing unit, integration, and potentially end-to-end tests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 6-10 years of professional experience in full-stack or primarily backend development with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem.
  • Lead experience is required
  • Deep understanding and proven experience with ASP.NET Core framework.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Extensive experience working with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and querying (SQL).
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT).
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
