Job Description

Cluster-Manager Job Responsibility

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AREA

1. Sales & Revenue Management

  • Drive sales targets across assigned branches or clusters for all broking products (Equity, F&O, Commodities, MF, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent revenue generation and improvement in profitability.
  • Monitor product-wise sales performance and implement corrective actions.

2. Team Leadership & Productivity

  • Lead and manage a team of Branch Managers, Sales Managers, and Relationship Managers.
  • Set clear goals, performance KPIs, and review mechanisms for each team member.
  • Drive training, motivation, and capability-building initiatives.

3. Client Acquisition & Expansion

  • Oversee acquisition strategies to onboard new retail and HNI clients across the cluster.
  • Ensure increased client activation, trading volume, and AUM.
  • Monitor lead generation and conversion efficiency across branches.

4. Channel Development

  • Identify, appoint, and activate sub-brokers, Authorized Persons (APs), and franchisee partners.
  • Improve partner productivity and ensure consistent contribution from all active partners.
  • Organize engagement and training activities for channels.

5. Compliance & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure 100 PERCENT adherence to SEBI, Exchange, and internal compliance policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and process checks across all branches.
  • Ensure proper documentation (KYC, risk profiling, agreements) and client handling protocols are followed.

6. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Analyze competitor performance and local market trends.
  • Share client feedback and product requirements with central/product teams.
  • Support regional and zonal sales heads in strategic planning and forecasting.

7. Branch Operations & Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between branches and central functions (operations, research, compliance).
  • Ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day operations at branch/cluster level.
  • Drive excellence in client experience across all touchpoints.

8. Reporting & MIS

  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly sales performance updates to regional leadership.
  • Ensure CRM, sales dashboards, and internal reporting tools are updated accurately.
  • Maintain transparency in data reporting and forecasting.
