Junior Business Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, gather and define requirements, and deliver actionable, data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements. Translate business needs into clear, functional specifications for development teams. 2. Process Optimization Evaluate existing workflows and identify areas for improvement. Recommend solutions to close process gaps and enhance operational efficiency. 3. Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities. Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to aid business decision-making. 4. Stakeholder Management Serve as a liaison between technical and business teams to ensure alignment and clarity. Conduct meetings, workshops, and review sessions to gather feedback and drive progress. 5. Project Support Support project planning and execution, ensuring deliverables are on time and meet expectations. Track milestones and provide updates to stakeholders. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Office). Basic knowledge of UI/UX tools (e.g., Figma). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Domain experience in areas like CCTV or video analytics. Professional certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, ECBA). Key Competencies: Strong attention to detail. Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time and work under tight deadlines. Critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
