Internal Audit Specialist

Job Title: Internal Audit Specialist Department: Internal Audit Reports To: Head – Internal Audit Company: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited Travel: Open to extensive travel across India and overseas (Valid passport mandatory) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Internal Audit Specialist with proven experience in conducting audits in large manufacturing setups. The ideal candidate will support risk management and governance processes by planning and executing internal audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas. Key Responsibilities (KRA):Audit Planning & Strategy Develop and execute the annual audit plan based on organizational risks, objectives, and control frameworks. Financial & Operational Audits Conduct thorough audits of financial and business operations to assess risks, controls, and performance. Compliance & Regulatory Reviews Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations within the Indian steel manufacturing sector. Reporting Prepare clear, concise, and actionable audit reports detailing observations, risks, and recommendations. Cross-functional Collaboration Liaise with departments across the organization to collect audit evidence, share findings, and support implementation of corrective actions. Required Qualifications: CA / CMA / MBA in Finance or equivalent Preferred: CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification Experience:4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in internal audit roles within large manufacturing setups OR Finance function experience with a strong interest in transitioning into internal audits Skills & Competencies: Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred: Working knowledge of data analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView Personal Attributes: Analytical mindset with attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills High degree of integrity and objectivity Willingness to travel frequently across domestic and international locations Why Join Us?
