Job Purpose/ Summary Indirect Tax Compliances Job Title IDT_BA_GCC Job Description As a Senior Officer in the IDT_BA_GCC department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the indirect taxation processes of the organization. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of regulatory acts and laws, and be proficient in using accounting software. Your role will also require you to have a basic understanding of legal matters related to indirect taxation. Principal Accountabilities Oversee and manage all indirect tax-related activities, including but not limited to GST, VAT, Service Tax, and other applicable taxes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory acts and laws related to indirect taxation. Use accounting software to maintain accurate records of all transactions and generate reports as needed. Provide legal advice on matters related to indirect taxation. Analyze financial data to identify potential tax liabilities and develop strategies to minimize tax liability. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure that the organization is in compliance with all updated laws. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting. Use MS Excel and SAP for data analysis and report generation. Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen, global mindset, entrepreneurship, and people excellence in all tasks and interactions. Handle any other duties as assigned by the management. This role requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
