Job Title

IDT_BA_GCCAs a Senior Officer in the IDT_BA_GCC department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's indirect taxation processes. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of regulatory acts and laws, and be proficient in using accounting software. Your role will also require you to have a basic understanding of legal matters related to indirect taxation.

Principal Accountabilities

Oversee and manage all indirect tax activities within the organization.Ensure compliance with all regulatory acts and laws related to indirect taxation.Use accounting software to maintain accurate records of all indirect tax transactions.Provide analytical insights on indirect tax matters to help the organization make informed decisions.Stay updated with changes in regulatory acts and laws related to indirect taxation and implement necessary changes in the organization's processes.Use your basic legal knowledge to handle any legal issues related to indirect taxation.Work closely with other departments to ensure that all indirect tax matters are handled efficiently and effectively.Use your business and commercial acumen to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency.Demonstrate a global mindset in handling indirect tax matters, considering the global implications of local tax decisions.Foster an environment of entrepreneurship and people excellence within the team.Special emphasis on managing GST, MS Excel and SAP, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
