Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at a client location in Delhi. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in CI/CD implementation, infrastructure management, and automation within complex enterprise environments. If you're passionate about reliability, scalability, and performance, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage software feature branches using a Source Control System. Develop tools, scripts, and procedures for automated build, deployment, and monitoring. Manage web applications, data loading processes, and performance monitoring. Understand client requirements and provide immediate DevOps support. Collaborate with Development and QA teams to ensure product readiness. Act as Release Manager: oversee code deployment across environments. Provision and manage infrastructure (servers, storage, networking) as per application needs. Deploy updates, fixes, and optimize application reliability and client experience. Ensure adherence to security, network, and compliance standards. Technical Skills (Mandatory) Operating Systems: Windows, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) Web Servers: JBoss, Tomcat Databases: Oracle, MySQL Big Data Tools: Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Spark, Logstash, R Programming & Scripting: Python, Bash Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes CI/CD: Clear understanding and hands-on implementation Preferred Skills Exposure to Cloud Platforms: Azure or GCP Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is a plus Qualifications B.E / MCA / M.Sc / BCA from a recognized institute Valid DevOps Certification is mandatory (ref:hirist.tech) Show more Show less
