Job Description

OBJECTIVE SUMMARY:

Ensure effective functioning of department by monitoring the department activities and serve as a link between the organization’s management and its employees thereby ensuring employee and employer satisfaction.

Accomplishing organizational goals, work culture, training and development, employee motivation, empowering employees, and team coordination. Objectives of HR acquisition are planning, recruiting, selecting the most efficient individuals, orientation, and placement.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manpower Planning

  • Ensure that sufficient manpower is available in all departments and is effectively utilised.
  • Prepare a department-wise manpower plan, review it yearly, and get approval from the higher authority.
  • Sanction the leave of employees and ensure adequate staff are available for the next day

Recruitment and Retention

  • Review job advertisements before posting, screen CVs, conduct telephone screenings, schedule & coordinate interview teams, send invitations & participate in interviewing candidates
  • Facilitate job analysis and update job descriptions.
  • Ensure that manpower requirements are fulfilled on time.
  • Do a background verification of shortlisted candidates.
  • Prepare an offer letter for the selected candidates and get approval from the director.
  • Collect the required documents from the selected employees and record them in the office
  • Conduct exit interviews of the candidates who are resigning and ensure that the exit is handled gracefully

Training and support

  • Develop training modules for the employees
  • Undertake employee training and development and make recommendations.
  • Maintain the training register
  • Conduct employee orientation and facilitate newcomers' joining formalities
  • Provide facilities for training new employees and required existing employees.

Employee Evaluation

  • Conduct the performance evaluation of the employees on a periodic basis
  • Conduct the probation evaluation of trainees.
  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews.
  • Implement KRA and KPI performance management system

Maintain Company Culture

  • Develop organisational policies and communicate those policies with employees.
  • Maintain a positive work environment for the employees
  • Plan & coordinate events or activities for employee engagement and get approval from Management for implementation
  • Ensure all employees are strictly adhering to the Organization Policies
  • Resolve internal organizational conflicts positively and professionally.
  • Annually review the Personnel Handbook, recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labour laws.

Other Activities

  • Coordinate with the Accounts Executive in the preparation of the monthly Payroll.
  • Work with management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.

Documentation

  • Update and maintain the employee data file
  • Keep the employees' details confidential and safe within the organization.
  • Keep track of employee turnover and exit rate
  • Prepare payroll calculations & get approval from the management before sharing those with the accounts executive.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification : MBA with Specialization in HR

Age : Above 25

Gender : Male / Female

Experience : Above 1 years
