Head of Marketing 🔖

Salary Range:


As we scale our operations and expand our market presence, we are seeking a strategic Marketing Manager to spearhead our customer acquisition initiatives. This role requires a visionary professional who can navigate the unique challenges of marketing in the cannabis wellness space while building innovative pathways to reach new customers.

You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive customer acquisition strategies that go beyond traditional advertising, establishing strategic partnerships, and optimizing our customer journey to maximize our exceptional repeat purchase rate.



Your Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive customer acquisition strategies across medical cannabis, wellness, and pet care segments
  • Create annual and quarterly marketing plans with clear acquisition targets and innovative channel development
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis in the cannabis/wellness space
  • Identify and prioritize customer segments for targeted acquisition campaigns

Alternative Acquisition Channel Development

  • Build strategic partnerships with healthcare practitioners, Ayurvedic doctors, and wellness professionals through the marketing team.
  • Develop B2B2C relationships with wellness centers, yoga studios, spas, and pharmacies
  • Design and execute educational webinars and workshops for healthcare professionals and consumers
  • Create sophisticated referral programs to leverage our high customer retention rate

Performance Marketing Coordination

  • Collaborate with external performance marketing agencies to optimize compliant advertising campaigns
  • Identify new advertising opportunities within platform restrictions and regulatory compliance
  • Develop creative strategies that work within cannabis marketing limitations
  • Monitor and optimize customer acquisition costs across all channels

Customer Journey Optimization

  • Map and enhance the entire customer journey from awareness to advocacy
  • Implement advanced customer segmentation strategies for personalized marketing
  • Design retention campaigns and cross-selling opportunities across our diverse product range
  • Analyze customer data to identify growth opportunities and optimize conversion funnels

Strategic Partnerships & Business Development

  • Establish relationships with complementary wellness brands for cross-promotion opportunities
  • Negotiate strategic alliances that expand market reach and customer base
  • Build partnerships with healthcare institutions and wellness practitioners
  • Develop co-marketing initiatives with aligned brands in the wellness ecosystem



What We Are Looking For

📌 4-6 years of marketing experience with proven success in customer acquisition, preferably in regulated industries (pharmaceuticals, wellness, nutraceuticals)

📌 Demonstrated experience in alternative marketing channels including partnerships, content marketing, and community building

📌 Strong understanding of compliance requirements for cannabis/wellness products and experience navigating marketing restrictions

📌 Expertise in performance marketing coordination and agency management with focus on ROI optimization

📌 Experience in D2C partnership development and negotiation in healthcare or wellness sectors

📌 Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing metrics, customer segmentation, and data-driven decision making

📌 Understanding of subscription/repeat purchase business models and retention marketing strategies

📌 Previous experience in cannabis, CBD, wellness, or Ayurvedic product marketing is highly preferred

📌 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

📌 Passion for wellness, natural products, and breaking industry stigmas through education
