Head of Marketing

We are partnering with a leading medical technology company that has a significant presence across India. The organization manufactures a vast and diverse portfolio of essential products used in advanced surgical procedures. They are a key player in the industry, committed to innovation and providing surgeons with high-quality tools that improve patient outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead the strategy and execution for the company's entire Surgery devices portfolio. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the growth of a complex and critical business unit. You will manage a team of product marketers and be the central point of contact for all marketing activities within the division. The goal is to build a robust marketing function that effectively connects product innovation with the needs of surgeons and patients.

What You'll Do

• Develop and own the marketing strategy for the surgery portfolio, which includes a wide range of products like sutures, meshes, and surgical instruments.
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers, guiding their work on individual product lines.
• Work closely with the sales teams to make sure the marketing and sales strategies are aligned and working well together.
• Partner with the R&D and manufacturing teams to provide market insights that will guide new product development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top surgeons and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the country.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to find new opportunities for growth.
• Oversee the launch of new products, ensuring they are positioned effectively to succeed in the market.

What We're Looking For

• Someone with deep experience in marketing, specifically within the medical device or broader healthcare industry - Preferred
• Direct experience with products in advanced surgery is a strong plus. This could include sutures, surgical meshes, energy devices, or endo-surgery products.
• A strong leader who knows how to manage and develop a team.
• Someone who can work well with different teams, from sales and R&D to senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key doctors and hospital stakeholders.
• A good understanding of the Indian healthcare market.
