Job Summary/Objective: We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and experienced Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for shaping the technology vision, driving engineering excellence, and delivering reliable, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. You will work closely with product, design, and executive teams to bring ideas to life and build world-class products. Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Define and execute the engineering roadmap aligned with the company’s vision and goals. Build and lead high-performing engineering teams; recruit, mentor, and retain top talent. Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Technology Management Make architectural decisions for scalability, security, and performance. Oversee code quality, technical debt management, and engineering best practices. Ensure appropriate use of modern development tools, technologies, and methodologies. Execution & Delivery Own end-to-end delivery of products and features, ensuring timely execution. Implement efficient engineering processes, agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams. Stakeholder Communication Report engineering metrics, progress, and roadblocks to executive leadership. Translate business requirements into technical solutions with clear timelines and scope. Serve as a technical advisor to the leadership team. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience managing distributed or cross-functional engineering teams. Deep understanding of scalable architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevOps practices, and modern tech stacks. Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, system design, and technical project management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth tech environment. Track record of delivering B2B/B2C SaaS platforms or consumer-facing applications.
