General Manager - Finance

We are seeking an exceptionally disciplined, detail-oriented, and ethical finance professional to lead our financial operations. The General Manager – Finance will oversee financial strategy, controls, compliance, reporting, budgeting, and risk management across the organization. This role demands uncompromising professionalism, accuracy, and strategic foresight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across departments.
• Provide clear financial insights to support high-level decision-making.
• Monitor capital structure, cash flows, and long-term financial sustainability.

Financial Controls & Compliance

• Implement and enforce internal financial controls, SOPs, and audit mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, ROC filings, etc.).
• Oversee timely audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and liaise with external auditors and legal advisors.

Operational Finance

• Supervise day-to-day accounting functions and financial operations.
• Optimize working capital management including receivables, payables, and inventory control.
• Drive cost-efficiency without compromising on operational excellence.

Team Leadership

• Build and mentor a high-performance finance and accounts team.
• Instill a culture of ownership, discipline, and ethical financial practices.

Reporting & Analysis

• Deliver accurate and timely MIS, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports to leadership.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend course-corrections to meet financial KPIs.
• Present detailed financial reports to board and investors, when required.

Risk & Governance

• Identify financial risks and ensure business continuity planning.
• Maintain oversight of insurance, assets, contracts, and statutory compliance.

Key Qualifications

• CA / MBA in Finance / CMA or equivalent financial credential.
• 5 years of relevant financial leadership experience (hospitality, retail, or real estate sectors preferred).
• Proven track record in budgeting, audits, taxation, compliance, and cash flow management.
