Job Description

The Role
We're seeking a skilled Full Stack JavaScript Developer to build robust, scalable solutions that power our legal tech platform. You'll work on everything from real-time lawyer matching systems to AI-powered legal assistants, directly impacting how millions access legal services.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and Next.js
Build responsive, high-performance frontend interfaces with React
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
Work with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) to manage legal data
Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways
Implement real-time features for our 24/7 legal helpline (LOTS)
Collaborate on our AI legal assistant (LAILA) integration
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security
Write clean, maintainable code with proper testing

What We're Looking For

3+ years of full stack JavaScript development experience
Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
Expert knowledge of React and Next.js
Experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
Understanding of RESTful API design and development
Knowledge of version control (Git) and deployment processes
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud preferred)
Understanding of authentication, security, and data protection

Nice to Have

Experience with TypeScript
Knowledge of Docker and containerization
Real-time systems experience (WebSocket, Socket.io)
Experience with legal tech, fintech, or compliance-heavy applications
Mobile app development experience (React Native)
AI/ML integration experience
Understanding of Indian payment systems and KYC processes
