What You’ll Be Doing...
We are looking for an Eng III- Ntwk Engring for the Global & Network Communications group in India. In this role, you will be playing a key role in developing, documenting, and enforcing network standards, best practices, and security policies across the organization to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our network infrastructure. Proactive design initiatives, high level communication skills, and the development of next-generation solutions are key functions of the Network Planning team. Additional responsibilities will also include:
- Driving new technology development and testing.
- Developing complex Data Center, Core WAN, and DMZ topology projects.
- Performing capacity planning analysis of Data center and core WAN infrastructure.
- Driving automation using Python, XML, or YANG scripting languages.
- Providing valuable input to team designs and evaluating new products.
- Developing new network standards.
- Providing project status to the management team.

What We’re Looking For…
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Expertise in network technologies & protocols, including network security.
- Hands-on experience in network - Switch/Router/Firewall/Proxy.
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2/ Layer 3 networks.
- Understanding of QoS and network security functions (firewalls, VPN, IPS, etc).
- Strong knowledge of Python, XML, or YANG scripting languages.
- CCNP certification - Valid CCNP certification in Routing and Switching, or other relevant tracks.
- Self-driven control of technical/educational growth.
Even Better If You Have
- CCIE/CCDE certification - Valid CCIE certification in Routing and Switching, Security, or other relevant tracks.
- Seven or more years of data networking experience (LAN/ WAN and Layer 2/ Layer 3) in a service provider network or large enterprise network environment.
- Experience in working with LAB environments and evaluating new products for network infrastructure and capacity planning testing is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and LAN technologies
- Experience with Multi-Vendor networking equipment
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-organizational projects.
- High motivation, self-starter approach, and demonstrable leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively under tight time constraints and deliver accurate results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional level network certification or higher.
