Engineer (Mechanical)

1. Design & Development

• Create detailed mechanical designs, components, and systems using CAD tools (2D/3D) .
• Perform simulations and analyses for stress, thermal performance, fluid dynamics, and material behaviour .
• Collaborate with other teams (electrical, structural, industrial designers) for seamless integration of components into larger systems .

2. Testing & Evaluation

• Build and run physical prototypes and simulations to validate design functionality and durability .
• Analyze test outcomes and refine designs based on performance data and feedback .

3. Manufacturing & Production Support

• Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready and cost-efficient .
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize tooling and processes, and oversee quality during manufacturing .

4. Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement quality control systems, conduct inspections and audits to ensure product integrity and compliance .
• Analyze quality data and lead continuous process improvement initiatives .

5. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Support installation, diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems and machinery .
• Develop maintenance schedules and guide service teams to minimize downtime .

6. Project Management

• Define project scope, schedule, budgets, and resource requirements .
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, track progress, and manage stakeholders throughout project execution .

7. Research, Innovation & R&D

• Stay updated on new technologies, materials, and methods to drive product innovation and optimization .
• Lead or contribute to R&D efforts to develop advanced mechanical solutions .

8. Documentation & Regulatory Compliance

• Draft technical documentation, reports, standards, and operational manuals for designs and tests .
• Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and industry regulations (e.g. ISO, ASTM) .

9. Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with engineers (electrical, software, civil), vendors, and clients to align on integrated system design .
• Present technical findings, progress updates, and proposals clearly to stakeholders .

10. Cost Estimation & Supply Chain Oversight

• Estimate material, tooling, and labour costs; manage budgets within financial constraints .
• Work with suppliers, track BOMs, and ensure supply meets project quality and timing requirements .

11. Professional Growth & Ethics

• Continue learning through workshops, certifications, and industry engagement.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain professional integrity in design and documentation .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹23,096.96 - ₹62,722.73 per month
