Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain multi-tenant MySQL databases hosted on AWS Cloud . Review database-related pull requests from developers for schema modifications and updates. Monitor, analyze, and optimize SQL queries and indexes to enhance database performance. Partner with DevOps and development teams to support application needs and deployment workflows. Ensure the implementation and regular testing of database security , backups , and disaster recovery protocols. Design, implement, and maintain data warehousing solutions using AWS Redshift , QuickSight , or similar technologies. Enable reporting and analytics capabilities by integrating data pipelines and supporting BI/reporting use cases. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse, globally distributed teams. Requirements: Demonstrated experience ( 10+ years ) as a MySQL Database Administrator in cloud environments , with a strong preference for AWS . Hands-on expertise in query optimization , schema design , and performance tuning . Proficiency with AWS RDS , Aurora , CloudWatch , and integration with CI/CD pipelines . Experience designing and managing data warehousing solutions , preferably with AWS Redshift , QuickSight , or other BI/reporting tools. Solid understanding of multi-tenant architectures and database scalability principles. Excellent English communication skills , both written and verbal.
