This role places you at the center of a mission-critical data modernization program for a global enterprise. You’ll be responsible for building and operationalizing secure, scalable, and performant data pipelines on Azure, empowering enterprise-wide analytics, decision intelligence, and machine learning capabilities.

Role Overview: Data Engineer – Azure

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure-native tools
• Ingest and transform both structured and unstructured datasets
• Build domain-specific data lakes and data warehouse layers
• Implement real-time data streaming architectures using Kafka and Spark
• Work extensively with Python, PySpark, Hive, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra
• Integrate automation, monitoring, and TDD practices across data workflows
• Collaborate with BI, analytics, governance, and infrastructure teams
• Support production releases and CI/CD-enabled data deployment pipelines

Who You Are

• 4–8 years of experience in hands-on data engineering roles
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Unix/Linux scripting
• Deep expertise with Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Practical experience with Kafka, Hive, Spark, Hadoop, and the ELK stack
• Knowledge of metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and data streaming patterns
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices
• Bonus: Experience with Postgres, Oracle, SAS, or visualization tools like QlikSense
• A detail-oriented problem-solver with a performance-driven mindset
