Our team is building a comprehensive, structured product catalog of furniture, materials, and design elements that powers our digital planning and sourcing experience. This role is central to keeping that catalog data clean, structured, and useful for design, sales, and marketing teams.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Data Analyst Intern to help organize, clean, analyze, and maintain product catalog data that feeds into Officebanao’s operations and customer-facing tools.

You’ll work on real datasets involving furniture specifications, pricing, materials, inventory, and vendor details. Your work will ensure high-quality, structured data is available for our teams to make better business decisions and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, consolidate, and clean product-related data from multiple sources (vendor sheets, internal databases, spreadsheets).
• Identify data quality issues such as duplicates, inconsistencies, or missing values; design and implement solutions.
• Standardize product attributes (e.g., dimensions, materials, finishes, categories) for consistent use across systems.
• Develop and maintain clear data templates, dictionaries, and taxonomies for internal teams.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand trends in pricing, availability, categories, and sourcing.
• Collaborate with sourcing, design, and marketing teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Build basic reports or dashboards (e.g., in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools) to monitor catalog health and coverage.
• Support data-driven decision-making by providing insights on inventory, pricing ranges, vendor quality, or other KPIs.
• Document all processes, cleaning rules, and data models to ensure consistency and scalability.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Pursuing or completed undergraduate studies in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning techniques).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Exposure to data cleaning, structuring, and validation concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools (Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Experience working with CSV, JSON, or other structured data formats.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot anomalies or inconsistencies.
• Good communication skills for documenting work and coordinating with teams.
