Principle Accountabilities

Responsible for monitoring project budgets and to ensure costs are controlled withing approved limits.

Prepare and maintain cost control reports including Forecasted Vs Actual Cost Comparisons

Assist in the development and review of Project Budgets, BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.

Track Commitments, Expenditures and contract variations in co-ordination with the Contracts Team.

Maintain detailed records of all Project related Costs including materials, Labour and Sub Contractor expences.

Support Procurement by Validating Purchase Orders and Supplier Invoices against Budgeted values.

Assist in Cost Verification for Monthly contractor bills, Progress Claims and Sub Contractor Invoices.

Co-ordinate with the planning team to align Cost Reports with Project Schedules and timelines.

Analyze Cost Trends and alert Management on Potential cost Overruns or savings Opportunities.

Participate in Project Audits and provide necessary Documentation for Financial Reviews.

Maintain Cost Control Systems and Databases to ensure real-time Tracking of Financial Performance.

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with 10-15 Years of Experience in the real estate Industry.
• Knowledge of Construction Industry Practices, Processes and Standards
• Understanding of various laws and time tested contracting and tendering processes.
• Knowledge of basic financial management, forecasting and budgeting
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Negotiations skills
• Ability to work under Pressure and meet deadlines
