Job Title: Senior Cost Control Engineer Job Description: Key Responsibilities: 1. Budget Management: - Develop and maintain project budgets, including initial cost estimates, detailed cost breakdowns, and budget forecasts. - Ensure that all project costs are tracked accurately and align with the budget. 2. Cost Monitoring and Reporting: - Monitor project costs continuously, identifying variances between the actual and budgeted costs. - Prepare regular financial reports, including cost performance reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost variance analyses. - Provide management with timely and accurate reports on cost performance and projections. 3. Cost Estimation: - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to prepare detailed cost estimates for all phases of the project. - Ensure that cost estimates are realistic and account for all project components, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads. 4. Change Management: - Manage and evaluate the financial impact of project changes, including scope modifications and unforeseen conditions. - Update cost estimates and budgets based on approved change orders. 5. Cost Control Systems: - Implement and maintain cost control systems and software to track project costs and financial data efficiently. - Ensure that all financial data is accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures. 6. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with HQ team, Project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that cost control measures are understood and followed. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Minimum 8+ years of experience in Construction Projects - Proven experience in cost control, financial management, or project management within the construction industry. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in cost control software and tools, such as Primavera, Unifier, or similar. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project management principles. - Certification in cost management or project management (e.g., CCP, PMP) is an advantage.
