We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cloud L2 Operations Support Engineer with strong experience in Azure and AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining IaaS and PaaS infrastructure, providing operational support, and ensuring high availability and performance of cloud-hosted services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day operations and administration of Azure and AWS virtual machines (VMs) and PaaS components.
Execute regular maintenance activities such as patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting for cloud-hosted servers.
Administer Linux-based VMs and perform OS-level troubleshooting and support.
Monitor systems proactively and manage events and incidents triggered by monitoring tools.
Respond to and resolve incidents reported by users or generated by automated alert systems.
Perform backup and restoration of critical resources.
Implement Azure IMG recommendations and optimize cloud resources.
Review and apply recommendations from Azure Security Center and AWS Trusted Advisor.
Provide 24/7 support coverage through rotational shifts.
Generate weekly and monthly operational reports detailing incidents, alerts, and changes for customer presentations.
Prepare and maintain process documentation and technical guides for operational procedures.
Manage and track cloud resource certificates (expiry, renewal, and reporting).
Collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders in regular operational meetings, providing updates on incidents, requests, problems, and changes.
Follow ITIL best practices in incident, problem, and change management.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong experience in Azure and AWS administration (IaaS and PaaS services).
Proficient in Linux server administration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in cloud monitoring and operations support.
Good knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Docker.
Familiarity with security patching and server maintenance best practices.
Working knowledge of Azure monitoring tools and dashboards.

Preferred Skills:

Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Experience with cloud cost optimization and resource efficiency practices.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities across teams and stakeholders.
