- APAC Shift: 6 AM to 3 PM IST
- UK Shift : 2 PM IST to 11 PM IST
- US Shift : 10 PM IST to 7 AM IST
What you'll be responsible for in this role:
- Implementation Engineer work closely with internal E6 technical teams and our external clients.
- You act as a technical bridge, helping customers see the biggest return from their investment in E6 technology and services. To excel, you bring strong technical skills and excellent people skills.
- There are three distinct phases to the work of Implementation for each of our projects: Pre Implementation activities, Implementation and post-implementation support.
- Design and develop custom components and enhancements using Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs) and modern front-end frameworks
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal tooling, platform enhancements, and reusable modules.
- As subject matter experts for our solutions, you also act as a mentor to your teammates, either formally (such as through training) or informally.
- Great candidates will be proactive problem solvers and share our vision for customer success and have a focus on service improvements – such as through the development of re-usable content and recommendations.
What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:
The successful candidate will bring experience supporting/implementing Java-based applications in the financial space, together with strong people skills and a focus on collaborative working.
Mandatory
- 3–5 years of experience in Java full stack development, ideally in a client-facing or implementation role.
- 3+ years' experience in financial services
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, CI/CD tools, and version control systems (Git).
- Experience in Linux / unix commands
- Experience querying RESTful APIs using PostMan or other tools
- Hands-on experience with SFTP, PGP encryption, and secure file exchange protocols.
- Identify opportunities to drive process efficiency and automation
- Should be flexible to work in shifts
Desirable
- Experience working with payment processors, banks, fintech platforms, or card management systems
- Exposure to AWS, containerization (Kubernetes), and observability tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.
