Business Development Manager

6+ Years of experience | Full Time | Thrissur

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the IT domain
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets and objectives for the team
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets within the IT sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitors
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate tracking of leads and opportunities
  • Train and develop sales team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise in the sales process
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement best practices in sales processes and techniques
  • Foster a positive team environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in a high-growth tech company or startup environment
  • Knowledge of the latest sales techniques and tools
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a sales team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and sales tools


*Preference will be given to candidates from Kerala with mandatory experience in the IT industry.
