Role Objective

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth for Genus’s Smart Metering software portfolio.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive gaps through in-depth market research.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline for

  MDMS

  ,

  Head-End Systems

  , and

  energy analytics

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape client-centric solutions and ensure successful deployments.
• Build trusted relationships with utilities, government bodies, and global partners.
• Develop business cases and financial models to support investment decisions.
• Own P&L for assigned verticals, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
• Represent Genus at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand presence.
• Stay updated with evolving regulations and industry trends in energy & utilities.

What You Bring

• 5–15 years of business development experience in software and solution sales
• Exposure to the

  energy/utility domain

  (Smart Metering is a huge plus!)
• Excellent communication in English and local language(s)
• Strong networking, presentation, and negotiation skills
• A consultative mindset with proven experience in client engagement & business modeling
