The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence. This is a field-based role that involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet revenue and expansion goals. Key Responsibilities1. Business Development Strategy Design and execute growth strategies in alignment with overall business objectives. Identify target markets, industries, and customers to fuel expansion. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to spot new opportunities. Create proposals, presentations, and business cases for new ventures. 2. Client Relationship Management Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and partners. Understand client requirements and tailor solutions accordingly. Serve as the main point of contact for client negotiations and issue resolution. Conduct regular meetings with clients to review goals and deliver solutions. 3. Sales and Revenue Growth Achieve revenue targets by onboarding new clients and increasing existing business. Lead negotiations and close high-value deals. Work with sales and marketing teams to create impactful sales strategies. Monitor sales metrics and report performance to senior management. 4. Market Expansion Explore and develop entry strategies for new markets. Coordinate with product teams to align offerings with market demands. Build strategic alliances and partnerships for market development. Perform risk assessments related to new markets and propose mitigation plans. 5. Team Collaboration and Leadership Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. Mentor junior team members and support their professional development. Assist in recruiting and training new business development personnel. Promote a high-performance and collaborative team culture. 6. Reporting and Documentation Generate regular reports on market trends, sales performance, and BD activities. Maintain detailed records of client interactions, deals, and agreements. Utilize CRM tools for managing pipelines and client engagement. Provide feedback on market insights and potential product improvements. 7. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure business practices comply with legal and regulatory standards. Identify and address risks associated with business growth initiatives. Uphold ethical standards and protect the company’s brand and reputation. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus. Skills : Strong strategic and analytical thinking. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders. Proficient in CRM tools, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office.
