Business Development Manager – IT Infrastructure
We are a rapidly scaling technology integrator operating in the Enterprise Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, and Managed Services sector. Serving mid-market and large corporate clients across India, we architect, deliver, and support secure, high-availability solutions powered by leading vendors such as Cisco. - Own the full sales cycle for Cisco networking, security, and collaboration portfolios—prospect, qualify, propose, negotiate, and close.
- Develop account plans that map customer infrastructure roadmaps to our end-to-end solutions, ensuring quarterly and annual revenue targets are met.
- Build executive-level relationships with CIOs, IT Heads, and Procurement to position value-based proposals and multi-year service contracts.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to craft technically sound BoMs, SOWs, and ROI models that address client pain points.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasting, and activity tracking on leading CRM platforms while adhering to defined sales governance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and vendor programmes to inform strategic campaigns and maximise rebate/incentive opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2–4 years quota-carrying experience selling IT infrastructure or networking solutions in India.
- Demonstrated success driving Cisco hardware, software, and subscription sales
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, SD-WAN, security appliances, and collaboration suites to converse credibly with technical buyers.
- Proven hunter mindset with consistent over-achievement of monthly and annual targets.
- Ability to create high-impact presentations, commercial proposals, and TCO justifications for CXO audiences.
- Willingness to travel on-site to customer locations across assigned territory.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science plus MBA in Marketing or Sales.
- Existing Cisco Sales Specialist or CCNA certification.
- Familiarity with data centre, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions from complementary vendors (e.g., VMware, AWS, Palo Alto).
- Exposure to managed services or recurring revenue business models.
