Role Objective:


Key Responsibilities:


1. Business Development & Lead Generation:


o Identify and connect with real estate developers, contractors, architects, consultants, and infrastructure companies.

o Target private and government projects (e.g., housing, commercial, industrial, warehousing, etc.

2. Effective Pitching & Communication:

o Proven ability to craft and deliver compelling pitches that clearly communicate value propositions, driving client engagement and conversions.

o Skilled in tailoring persuasive presentations to diverse audiences, effectively aligning solutions with client needs.


3. Sales Cycle Management:

o Drive the complete sales cycle: lead generation → presentation → proposal → negotiation → closure.

o Collaborate with design and estimation teams for customized client solutions and BOQ-based proposals.


4. Client Relationship Management:

o Build relationships with decision-makers: project heads, procurement, architects, and consultants.

o Provide technical support and engage in solution-based selling.


5. Market Intelligence & Reporting:

o Gather data on upcoming projects, competitor analysis, and pricing trends.

o Maintain accurate sales funnel and provide periodic reporting to management.


6. Site Visits & Presentations:

o Conduct client presentations, factory visits, and product demos.

o Attend pre-bid and technical meetings as required.


7. Sales Target Achievement:

o Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

o Contribute to strategic sales planning for expanding market reach.


Key Skills & Competencies:

 Excellent communication skills of Written & Spoken English & negotiation skills

 Strong technical acumen in construction or civil engineering concepts

 Solution-oriented and consultative selling mindset

 High initiative, self-motivated, and target-driven

 CRM tool experience preferred (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho)

 AI Tools


Proficiency: Utilize AI tools to enhance business development activities, streamline processes and gain insights from data.


Preferred Skills:


 Use of Autocad and understanding and evaluating architectural drawings


Ideal Candidate Profile:


I. Qualification:

  • BBA in Marketing
  • MBA in Marketing (preferred)


II. Experience:

  • 1–2 years in project sales
  • Experience in B2B sales for building materials, precast concrete, infra products, or industrial solutions


III. Industry Preference:

  • Precast Concrete
  • Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC)
  • Structural Steel
  • Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB)
  • Infra-tech
  • Modular Construction


IV. Location Preference:

  • Candidates familiar with the local construction ecosystem and regional players


V. Personality Traits:

  • Strong relationship builder
  • Technically sound
  • Patience for long sales cycles
  • Aggressive closer
