Job Description

About the Role:

Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle for technical projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Lead architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and coding best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables within timelines and budgets.
  • Own project planning, sprint execution, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Actively contribute to Python codebases, helping debug, review, or develop features when needed.
  • Coordinate with DevOps and cloud engineers to maintain robust CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
  • Communicate project progress, issues, and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards across AWS infrastructure.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of software development experience, including

    strong hands-on Python programming

    .
  • 8+ years of experience managing software or cloud projects as a

    Technical Project Manager

    .
  • Deep understanding of

    AWS services

    (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM, etc.).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD processes, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation), and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience working with microservices, API design, or event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless frameworks.
  • Background in data engineering, ML pipelines, or cloud-native applications.
