Global Indirect Tax - LATAM & MENA Location: Bangalore, India Requirements CA/ CA-Inter/ MBA/ Postgraduate in Finance domain Experience of 4+ years in indirect tax and ability to apply globally Ability to work through huge data volumes and extract the truth Robust knowledge of MS Excel and/or logic-based tools (e.g. advanced excel models) Worked in LATAM Indirect Tax Compliance (Data for the Monthly filing, Preparation of Returns, Dashboards for the Management and Tax GL Recons) would be preferred. Intermediate working knowledge of Alteryx, tableau or other automation tools, ERP-Oracle, SQL reports. Prepare Tax Dashboard reports using automation tools. Good English written and verbal communication skills Key Responsibilities Include Preparing indirect tax computation (VAT, DST, CBIT) for LATAM & MENA regions using tools like Alteryx/Tableau Preparing VAT declarations Review Recons between returns and GL balances. Ensure that all open items in the GL recons are maintained to minimum balance. Working with regional POCs/ global SMEs on the compliance issues Preparing and reviewing reconciliation of IDT filings vis-à-vis Tax accounting in books Historic Indirect Tax filing analysis using Alteryx/Tableau model Historic review of global Indirect Tax and Revenue accounting using Alteryx/Tableau model Validate our global revenue and indirect tax system configuration Tracking and upwards reporting of issues, projects and dashboards.
