Android Skills Summary

• Expertise in Android application development with hands-on experience using Kotlin or Java.
• Proficient with Jetpack Components, including:

o Compose

o Data Binding

o Fragments

o Hilt

o LiveData

o Navigation

o Room

• Experience making API calls via common libraries such as Retrofit and Volley.
• Strong foundation in writing Unit and UI tests to uphold code quality.
• Familiar with UI design patterns, especially Material Design, and creating visually appealing interfaces.
• Knowledge and experience in testing, deploying, and managing apps on the Google Play Store, ensuring compliance with Google’s guidelines.
• Additional skills in iOS, React Native, or Flutter are considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes, as well as investigating problem areas and following the software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing, defining problems, gathering requirements, developing solutions, and proposing these solutions for adoption.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending policy and process changes.
• Stay current by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, build personal networks, and engage in professional organizations.
• Protect operations by maintaining the confidentiality of information.
• Communicate findings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Contribute to the engineering and organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
• Support and mentor software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
