Job Title:ADAS Model-in-Loop (MIL) Simulation Engineer Reporting Structure:Functional Reporting To: Group Leader Administrative Reporting To: Department Head (DPM) Educational Qualification:Essential: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Science Desirable: M.Tech in relevant discipline Experience:Minimum: 3 Years Maximum: 7 Years Preferred Industry Background:Engineering Centers (Automotive OEMs / Tier 1 Vendors) Automotive Research Organizations Automotive/ADAS Software Development Companies Job Role:Design, develop, and validate Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) functionalities using Model-in-Loop (MIL) simulation techniques and tools. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain simulation models for ADAS using MATLAB/Simulink, CarSim, Python, etc. Integrate plant and controller models (e.g., from ADAMS, CarSim) into MIL testing environments. Design simulation scenarios to validate ADAS features like AEB, ACC, and LKA. Analyze simulation outcomes and suggest improvements in algorithm robustness and performance. Build and automate an execution framework for MIL-based ADAS validation. Collaborate with validation and testing teams to align virtual and real-world test cases. Stay current with ADAS technologies, standards, and emerging trends to bring innovation and improvements. Technical Competencies:Strong knowledge of ADAS systems, functionalities, and system architecture. Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, CarSim, Python, and related simulation tools. Experience with Model-Based Development (MBD) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Hands-on experience with developing or simulating one or more ADAS controls: Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEB) Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Lane Keep Assist (LKA) Familiarity with control systems, sensors, and real-time simulation integration. Behavioral Competencies:Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Collaborative mindset with a proactive and result-oriented attitude. Good presentation skills and ability to convey technical information effectively. High motivation and ownership of responsibilities.
