Accounts Executive

Job Title: Account Executive Location: Bangalore / Onsite Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Finance Head Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to support our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, handling day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a passion for financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of all daily financial transactions. Prepare journal entries, ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes. Manage vendor payments, invoice processing, and follow-up on outstanding receivables. Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and petty cash. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and reports. Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with auditors during audits and help prepare required documentation. Assist in tax and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.). Maintain and update the accounting software with current data. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle). Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in handling audits and tax filings. Familiarity with ERP systems. Working knowledge of local tax laws and compliance procedures.
