Job Title: Vice President / Head – Product & Compliance (Sales – Home Loan & LAP)

Department: Sales / Product & Compliance

Industry: Banking / NBFC / Housing Finance

Experience Required: 15–20 Years

Location: Noida Sector 75

Salary: Up to 20LPA

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management

• Define and implement Home Loan and LAP product strategies aligned with the organization’s growth targets.

• Design tailored offerings for salaried, self-employed, MSME, and LAP customer segments.

• Continuously monitor portfolio health, disbursement trends, and NPA behavior to revise product structures accordingly.

2. Compliance Oversight & Regulatory Adherence

• Ensure compliance with RBI, NHB, and other applicable regulatory bodies.

• Establish frameworks to monitor sales practices, documentation integrity, and partner behavior.

• Lead periodic audits, compliance testing, and control implementation across the sales lifecycle.

3. Policy Formulation & Governance

• Draft and update credit policies, pricing norms, eligibility criteria, and risk parameters.

• Institutionalize maker-checker controls and approval mechanisms for deviations.

• Align product notes and process SOPs with internal audit, credit, legal, and operations.

4. Sales & Channel Enablement

• Guide large sales teams and channel partners on compliant selling practices, due diligence, and product structuring.

• Conduct regular product training, policy refreshers, and compliance sensitization programs.

• Provide escalation support and resolution for high-value or sensitive sales cases.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with Credit, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Technology to drive product innovations and system improvements.

• Play a key role in digital process automation for compliant onboarding and disbursement workflows.

• Lead product rollouts, regional adaptations, and pilot programs in new markets.

6. Risk Management & Reporting

• Monitor early delinquency trends, documentation discrepancies, and customer grievances related to product miscommunication.

• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective action plans.

• Provide strategic inputs to the Board/Leadership through structured dashboards and regulatory MIS.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Deep expertise in Home Loan & LAP products, credit policies, and underwriting standards.

• Strong command over regulatory compliance, RBI/NHB circulars, and fair practice codes.

• Proven track record in leading product teams, managing compliance risk, and supporting large sales organizations.

• Excellent interpersonal, training, and leadership skills.

• Advanced skills in Excel, MIS, and product/process documentation.

• Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field (MBA/CA/LLB preferred).

• 15 years of experience in product and compliance roles in the Banking/NBFC sector with a strong focus on HL & LAP.
