DCS Configuration & Programming Configure and program the DCS (e.g., Siemens PCS7, Emerson Ovation, ABB, Yokogawa, GE Mark VIe). Develop control logic for turbine start-up, shutdown, and operation. Integrate turbine control with plant-wide systems. System Design & Documentation Design control strategies and architecture for turbine systems. Prepare technical documentation including I/O lists, control narratives, P&IDs, and HMI layouts. Startup & Commissioning Support and lead turbine DCS activities during plant commissioning. Test interlocks, logic sequences, and response to faults. Tune control loops for optimal turbine performance. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Analyze data for performance optimization and fault diagnosis. Troubleshoot hardware/software issues in the DCS or turbine control panel. Provide 24/7 support during critical operation periods. Integration & Communication Protocols Set up communication between DCS and PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and field instruments.
