Technical Specialist

The Technical Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical support, system analysis, and solution implementation across various platforms and technologies. This role involves diagnosing complex technical issues, supporting system integrations, and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) in specific technical areas.

Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network systems.

Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned technical areas (e.g., systems, networks, applications, security).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize technology solutions.

Evaluate and recommend hardware/software upgrades, configurations, and new technologies.

Ensure systems meet performance, security, and reliability standards.

Prepare technical documentation, including procedures, manuals, and knowledge base articles.

Assist in project planning, implementation, and post-deployment support.

Analyze system performance and suggest improvements.

Train and support end-users or junior technical staff when needed.

Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Expertise in one or more technical domains (e.g., Windows/Linux systems, networking, databases, cloud platforms)

Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus

Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, VMware) are a plus
