Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a

Technical Lead / AM – Java Developer

with a strong balance of technical expertise and leadership experience.

50% of hands-on development and 50% on team management

responsibilities.

What You Will Need To Do

  • Build high-quality software products through strong collaboration and commitment to excellence.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers; oversee performance evaluations, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Guide the team in designing, developing, and delivering robust solutions while ensuring adherence to coding standards and industry best practices.
  • Implement and continuously improve development processes, tools, and workflows using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Recruit, onboard, and upskill team members to build a high-performing, future-ready team.
  • Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.
  • Handle medium to large complex programming tasks effectively.
  • Be proactive in raising issues and seeking clarity on functional and technical requirements.
  • Take ownership of key modules, especially complex or critical parts of the project.
  • Understand requirements and develop source code as per design specifications and coding standards.
  • Participate in ongoing development, maintenance, and support activities.
  • Maintain and update ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA) with task estimations, status updates, issues, and due dates.
  • Communicate effectively with team leads on progress, blockers, and other needs.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Follow Agile methodology and promote Agile best practices within the team.
  • Promote good software design and architecture practices.
  • Commit to well-defined deliverables and follow through on commitments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Need To Have

  • Must have handled a team of 3–6 developers.
  • Any graduate in any specialization or equivalent experience in programming.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java, Hibernate/JPA, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Web Services is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Microservices, Angular, or React is an added advantage.
  • 6–10 years of experience as a Java Developer.
  • Sound logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
