Job Summary

SAP LSMW Data Lead Location: Preferably Bangalore, Other PAN India Tech Mahindra Locations are also open. Years of Experience: 4 to 8 Years Work Model: Hybrid Model (3 Days in Office per week, UK ¿ India Based Shift Timings) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP LSMW Data Lead to oversee and manage data migration projects utilizing SAP's Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW). The ideal candidate will have extensive hands on experience with LSMW and will report directly to the Data Migration Lead/Project Manager. Responsibilities Oversee and manage data migration projects using LSMW. Design and execute LSMW objects to migrate master data, transactional data, and configuration data. Create and manage LSMW scripts, including object recording, field mapping, and value transformations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during LSMW execution, including data inconsistencies or mapping errors. Develop and implement data validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness post migration. Collaborate with business teams to verify data integrity and perform reconciliation between source and target systems. Lead and mentor a team of data migration specialists, providing guidance on technical issues and ensuring optimal performance. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes, including data mapping rules, transformation logic, test results, and issue logs. Ensure a good understanding of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO, HR) and the data structures within each module. Handle large volumes of data, including data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation. Work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines while ensuring high quality deliverables. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business owners and technical teams. Maintain strong attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Mandatory Skills 4 to 8 years of experience in SAP LSMW for data migration. Proven experience in SAP conversions, LSMW, and BDC development. Strong troubleshooting skills for data migration issues. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction. Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards. Preferred Skills Proficiency in ABAP is an added advantage. Experience with data validation and reconciliation processes. Familiarity with various SAP modules and their data structures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP or data management are a plus.
