About the Role:

We are seeking a Backend Tech Lead with deep hands-on experience in Laravel and the MERN stack, capable of architecting robust, scalable, and production-grade applications. The ideal candidate must have proven experience developing real-world applications that are live and in active market use. Strong command over REST API architecture, HMVC, Artisan commands, and DevOps tools is essential.

You will lead backend architecture, mentor the dev team, and ensure delivery of secure, high-performance systems in a collaborative, product-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop production-ready backend systems using Laravel and Node.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs integrated with frontend (React/Angular) applications.
• Implement modular code structures following the HMVC architecture.
• Create and manage Laravel Artisan commands, CLI tools, cron jobs, and custom console scripts.
• Handle backend logic for applications already live in the market or at scale.
• Work with Docker Compose, Git, cPanel, and AWS for deployment and infrastructure management.
• Integrate MongoDB and MySQL databases; optimize schema design and performance.
• Use FRP (Fast Reverse Proxy) for port tunneling, if needed.
• Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior/mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and cloud infra automation.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of backend development experience.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining live production applications.
• Strong in Laravel (PHP) and Node.js within the MERN stack.
• Expertise in RESTful API design, versioning, and security.
• Sound knowledge of HMVC and modular architecture.
• Skilled in Artisan command development and Laravel’s CLI tools.
• Practical experience with Docker Compose, Git, and AWS.
• Comfortable with hosting and managing projects via cPanel.
• Familiar with FRP tools for secure tunnel access.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

• Exposure to microservices, WebSockets, or Redis.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of real-time data integration or 3rd party APIs (SMS, payments, auth, etc.).
