Job Title: Team Leader – Overdraft & Personal Loan Sales Location: Sector 62, Noida Department: Retail Banking / Consumer Lending Reports to: Sales Manager / Branch Manager / Regional Sales Head Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Team Leader – Overdraft & Personal Loan Sales to lead a team of sales professionals focused on acquiring customers and driving revenue through unsecured lending products. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of overdraft facilities, personal loan offerings, and credit assessment practices, with a proven ability to lead and coach high-performing teams in the banking or NBFC environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Management:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives handling overdraft and personal loan products. Set daily/weekly/monthly targets for the team and track performance. Conduct regular training, feedback sessions, and performance appraisals. 2. Sales & Acquisition:Drive sales of unsecured loan products, including: Personal Loans (PL) Overdraft Facilities (OD), especially for salaried and self-employed clients Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and cross-selling from existing customer bases. 3. Customer Relationship Management:Ensure excellent customer experience from lead generation to loan disbursal. Handle escalated customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and influencers. 4. Compliance & Credit Coordination:Ensure 100% adherence to KYC, income documentation, and credit policies. Coordinate with credit and risk teams for faster loan approvals and disbursals. Monitor portfolio quality and minimize delinquency and NPAs. 5. Reporting & Analysis:Track and report team performance, loan conversion rates, and disbursal numbers. Analyze sales data and implement improvement strategies. Submit regular MIS and updates to management. Key Requirements:Education: Graduate in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred). Experience: 3–6 years in retail loan sales, with at least 1 year in a team leader or supervisory role. Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of: Personal loan features (tenure, interest rates, eligibility) Overdraft facility mechanics (limit setting, utilization, renewal) Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and sales skills Working knowledge of loan origination systems, CRM tools, and MS Office Ability to analyze credit reports and financial documents Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Loan disbursement volume (PL & OD) Lead-to-conversion ratio TAT (Turnaround Time) for loan processing Portfolio quality (delinquency rate, bounce rate) Customer satisfaction and retention Team productivity metrics Preferred Background:Banks, NBFCs, FinTechs Experience in unsecured lending domain Familiarity with both salaried and self-employed customer segments
